Summary
This 2021 Panini Prizm Trevor Lawrence #331 fails to meet GEM MT standards. The centering is outside the 60/40 tolerance for a high grade, and the surface is heavily compromised by scratches and debris. Under NGA standards, the 7.0 surface subgrade and 8.0 centering subgrade drag the overall grade down significantly. Final Grade: 7.5 (Near Mint+)
Subgrades
Centering
8
The card exhibits a clear left-to-right shift, approximately 65/35. The left border is significantly thinner than the right border. Top-to-bottom centering is slightly better but still favors the bottom.
Corners
9
Corners show slight softness upon magnification, particularly the bottom right. They lack the razor-sharp piercing required for a 10.
Edges
9
Minor silvering is visible along the right edge. There is a tiny nick on the top edge above the Prizm logo.
Surface
7
Significant surface issues. Multiple horizontal scratches are visible across the middle of the card, and there are numerous white debris specks/pitting trapped under the gloss or on the surface.
Print Quality
9.5
Registration is good and colors are vibrant, though the surface debris distracts from the overall clarity.
