Subgrades
Centering
10
Exceptional 50/50 alignment on both the front and reverse. The yellow borders on the obverse are uniform across all four axes, and the blue reverse border shows perfect symmetry relative to the card back design.
Corners
10
All four corners are razor-sharp. Under magnification, there is no evidence of micro-whitening or fraying of the paper stock, maintaining a perfect factory-cut radius.
Edges
10
Edges are pristine with zero nicks or silvering. The cut is clean and smooth, lacking the typical rough-cut burrs often found on modern English Pokémon sets.
Surface
10
The surface is flawless. No visible print lines, scratches, or smudges are present. The holofoil pattern and the 25th Anniversary stamp are crisp with no pitting or ink defects.
Print Quality
10
High-definition clarity. The text is sharp with no bleeding, and the color saturation is deep and consistent throughout the artwork and borders.
