Summary
This 2021 Celebrations Groudon #017/025 exhibits elite preservation. While the reverse centering prevents a 'Black Label' equivalent, the pristine corners and flawless surface meet the strict NGA criteria for a GEM MT 10.
Subgrades
Centering
9.5
Front centering is exceptional, appearing near 50/50. However, the reverse shows a slight top-to-bottom shift (approx 55/45), precluding a perfect 10 subgrade.
Corners
10
All four corners are perfectly symmetrical and sharp. No visible whitening or radius irregularities even under magnification.
Edges
10
Factory fresh edges with zero silvering on the front and no chipping on the blue reverse borders. Cutting blade was clearly sharp.
Surface
10
The holofoil pattern is free of print lines or vertical scratches. No wax stains or fingerprint oils detected on the matte reverse.
Print Quality
10
Text is crisp with no ink bleeding. The 25th Anniversary Pikachu stamp is perfectly registered without any foil flaking.
