Summary
This 2018 McDonald's Collection Growlithe is downgraded to a 6.5 EX-MT+ primarily due to significant edge wear and reverse corner whitening. The presence of a light surface indentation on the reverse and poor 70/30 front centering prevents a higher grade. Per NGA standards, the cumulative subgrade average of 6.9 is rounded down to the nearest .5 increment.
Subgrades
Centering
7
Front centering is significantly heavy to the right, approximately 70/30. Back centering shows a top-heavy bias.
Corners
6
Significant whitening and blunting on all four reverse corners. The bottom right reverse corner shows structural softening.
Edges
6.5
Visible chipping and silvering along the left and right front edges. The reverse left edge has multiple white nicks and rough cutting.
Surface
6
The reverse surface shows a horizontal indentation/light crease near the center-right. Front surface has minor scuffing on the holo foil.
Print Quality
9
Colors are vibrant and registration is sharp, though minor ink debris is visible on the reverse top border.
