Summary
This Chinese Tornadus V (cs3aC) exhibits elite preservation. While the front presents as a Gem Mint candidate, minor factory-end imperfections on the reverse edges and corners necessitate a 9.5 Mint+ grade.
Subgrades
Centering
9.5
Front centering is exceptional, near 50/50. Reverse shows a negligible shift toward the top-left, but remains within the 55/45 tolerance for a Mint+ designation.
Corners
9.5
Corners are structurally sharp. Microscopic white specking visible on the bottom-right reverse corner under magnification prevents a perfect 10.
Edges
9.5
Edges are extremely clean with no visible silvering on the front. Minor factory burr detected on the left vertical edge of the reverse.
Surface
9.5
High gloss and zero scratches. A single faint print line is visible on the reverse blue border under direct light, typical of modern Japanese/Chinese production.
Print Quality
10
Text is crisp and the holofoil registration is perfectly aligned with the character art.
