Summary
This 2019 Pokemon Hidden Fates Geodude #33/68 is a premier example of the card. While the front presents as Gem Mint, the reverse side contains the typical micro-flaws associated with modern factory cutting, specifically minor corner whitening and edge texture. Per NGA standards, the cumulative subgrades justify a 9.5 Mint+ overall grade.
Subgrades
Centering
9.5
Front centering is exceptional, nearly 50/50. Reverse shows a negligible shift toward the top-left, approximately 52/48, which is well within Mint+ tolerances.
Corners
9.5
Corners are structurally sharp. Microscopic white specking visible on the bottom-right corner of the reverse under magnification prevents a perfect 10.
Edges
9.5
Edges are extremely clean with no visible silvering on the front. Minor factory roughness on the top edge of the reverse prevents a Gem Mint designation.
Surface
9.5
High gloss and zero scratches. A single, nearly invisible print dot is located in the lower orange field, only detectable under direct light.
Print Quality
10
Text is crisp and the saturation of the Hidden Fates set colors is perfect. No ink bleeding or registration errors detected.
