Summary
This card suffers from poor centering and significant corner wear. The white borders show age-related staining (foxing) which severely impacts the surface subgrade. Typical 1989 Topps production flaws are present throughout.
Subgrades
Centering
9.5
Front centering is exceptional, approximately 50/50. Reverse shows a negligible shift toward the top edge, preventing a perfect 10.
Corners
9.5
Upper right corner on reverse exhibits microscopic white point under magnification. All other corners are razor sharp and maintain original factory geometry.
Edges
8
Rough factory cut typical of 1989 Topps stock; visible chipping and nicks along the right edge.
Surface
7.5
Visible foxing/staining on the white borders. Back shows significant cardboard toning and minor surface debris.
Print Quality
8.5
Standard clarity for the set, but minor print snow is visible in the darker areas of the image.
