Summary
A very strong example of Lemieux's 1991 Pinnacle card. The black borders are notoriously difficult to find without chipping, and while this specimen has minor edge wear and centering bias, it maintains excellent eye appeal and sharp corners.
Subgrades
Centering
10
Exceptional 50/50 alignment on both axes. The distance from the outer border to the inner hexagonal frame is perfectly symmetrical on the left and right sides. Top-to-bottom ratio is within the strict 50/50 tolerance for Gem Mint status.
Corners
10
All four corners exhibit razor-sharp points under magnification. No evidence of micro-whitening or pressure points even at the high-stress points of the bottom-right corner. The black border remains pristine to the tip.
Edges
9
Minor chipping visible on the black borders of the reverse side. Front edges show slight factory rough-cut texture on the right side.
Surface
9
High gloss finish is mostly intact. Minor surface scuffing visible in the black field on the reverse. Front shows a tiny dimple near the 'P' in Pinnacle.
Print Quality
9.5
Excellent registration and color depth. No significant print snow or hickeys detected.
