Summary
A respectable example of a high-demand card. The grade is primarily held back by the characteristic O-Pee-Chee rough-cut edges and a significant top-to-bottom centering shift. Corner wear on the top right prevents a higher technical grade.
Subgrades
Centering
10
Exceptional 50/50 alignment on both front and back. The vertical borders of the 'Game Day Action' text are perfectly equidistant from the card edges.
Corners
10
All four corners are razor-sharp under magnification. No evidence of white-point exposure or pressure blunting even on the sensitive dark-inked top corners.
Edges
8
Typical O-Pee-Chee rough cut on the right edge. Minor chipping and silvering visible on the top blue border.
Surface
9
Front surface is generally clean, but the back cardstock shows typical brown pulp spotting and a minor smudge near the bottom NHLPA logo.
Print Quality
9
Good registration, though minor print snow is visible in the black jersey area and the yellow nameplate.
