Summary
This card earns a final grade of MINT+ 9.5, representing a superior example that approaches Gem Mint status. The card achieves perfect scores in Centering, Surface, and Print Quality, with virtually flawless presentation. The grade is moderated by the Corners and Edges, which each exhibit a single, minor imperfection per NGA guidelines: one slightly soft corner and one tiny edge nick, respectively. These minor flaws are minimal and do not detract from the card's exceptional overall eye appeal.
Subgrades
Centering
9
Top-to-bottom centering is slightly heavy toward the bottom edge, approximately 60/40. Left-to-right alignment is strong but not perfect 50/50.
Corners
9.5
Corners are exceptionally sharp. Microscopic touch of white visible on the bottom right corner tip under magnification.
Edges
9
The card's edges are exceptionally clean and smooth overall. A single, minuscule white speck is visible on the bottom front edge, which qualifies as a 'tiny nick' and is the sole imperfection preventing a perfect score in this category.
Surface
10
Both front and back surfaces are immaculate, with full original gloss and no visible flaws. The card is free of any print lines, scratches, or indentations, meeting the highest NGA standard for surface quality.
Print Quality
10
Registration is perfect. Text is crisp and colors are vibrant with no print snow or hickeys.
