Summary
This 2024 Topps Inception Joey Loperfido Base Rookie & Emerging Star Autographs Red Parallel #BRES-JL (28/50) presents in excellent condition, achieving a strong Near Mint-Mint+ grade of 8.5. The card boasts perfect corners, edges, surface, and print quality, all of which meet Gem Mint standards. The vibrant colors, sharp imagery, and clean autograph contribute significantly to its visual appeal and high sub-grades in these categories.
The primary factor preventing a higher overall grade is the card's centering. While the front centering is a respectable 60/40, aligning with Mint specifications, the back centering is slightly off at approximately 65/35. This discrepancy, particularly on the back, pulls the overall centering score down and consequently limits the card from reaching a Mint 9 or Gem Mint 10 designation. Despite this, the card remains a highly attractive and well-preserved example.
