Summary
This 1984 O-Pee-Chee Doug Gilmour rookie card presents in excellent condition, earning an overall grade of 8.5. The card boasts exceptionally sharp corners, clean edges, and a vibrant, well-preserved surface with full original gloss. The print quality is also very strong, with a clear image and good color registration, marred only by a couple of minuscule print dots.
The primary factor preventing a higher grade is the card's centering. While the front exhibits strong 60/40 centering, the back is noticeably off-center at approximately 70/30. Despite this, the card's overall eye appeal is outstanding due to the superior condition of its other attributes, making it a very desirable example for its age.
