Summary
This 1991 ProSet SuperStars Bob Marley #16 fails to meet Gem Mint criteria on every subgrade. Under NGA standards, the combination of 65/35 centering, corner chipping, and surface debris results in a technical grade far below a 10. Final Grade: 8.0 (NM-MT).
Subgrades
Centering
8
The card exhibits a clear left-to-right shift, approximately 65/35 on the front. The top gold border is significantly thicker than the bottom gold border, failing the 50/50 requirement for a 10.
Corners
8.5
Visible white chipping on the top right corner and bottom right corner. The top left corner shows slight blunting. These are not the 'sharp' corners required for a Gem Mint designation.
Edges
8
Significant rough cut along the right edge with visible paper burrs. Minor chipping/silvering is evident along the top edge against the black background.
Surface
7.5
Multiple white surface specks/debris are visible in the upper right black field. There is a noticeable vertical print line or scratch running through the 'Legends' oval and into the gold border.
Print Quality
9
Color saturation is strong, but there is minor registration blurring in the 'Super Stars' logo text.
