Summary
This 2021 Celebrations Ho-Oh exhibits elite preservation. While the surface and print quality are flawless, the presence of a single micro-white point on a reverse corner and minor factory edge texture limits the technical grade to a 9.5 MINT+.
Subgrades
Centering
9.5
Front centering is exceptional, nearly 50/50. Reverse shows a negligible shift toward the top-left, but remains well within the 55/45 tolerance for a Gem Mint designation.
Corners
9.5
Corners are structurally sharp. Microscopic white speck visible on the bottom-right reverse corner under magnification prevents a perfect 10.
Edges
9.5
Edges are extremely clean with no visible silvering on the front. Minor factory roughness on the right-side reverse edge prevents a pristine score.
Surface
10
Holographic pattern is vibrant and free of vertical print lines or scratches. No visible wax stains or surface pitting detected.
Print Quality
10
Ink density is high. Text is crisp with no bleeding or registration errors. The 25th Anniversary stamp is perfectly applied.
